We facilitate the development and implementation of clinical artificial intelligence tools.
SPKI is the Norwegian centre for clinical artificial intelligence. We facilitate development and use of clinical decision support tools based on artificial intelligence by connecting clinical expertise with researchers on machine learning and technology.
SPKI is involved in a number of projects on clinical use of artificial intelligence. We develop and test clinical decision support tools, validate and perform prospective studies of CE-marked products, and make health data available, just to name a few of our activities.
An important task for SPKI is to spread knowledge and give advice on various aspects of clinical use of AI. One of the ways we do this is through our resource bank. Here you will find information about, for example, the use of AI in radiology and Helse Nord’s strategy for AI, as well as guidance on ethical and legal issues.
